Xiaomi, India’s fastest growing consumer electronics brand had forayed into the Tier 3, 4 and 5 towns through Mi Stores. Although the brand has a very high recall rate, customers had not experienced the product first hand. Thereby, we devised a simple roadshow and educated customers on the feature superiority through a simple game of Trump Cards. The result; 1.7 lakh people visited the activity vehicle resulting in 93.5k product demos. It also generated a sales spike of 42% in the outlets with 9,000 plus units of sales. The activity was one of the most successful for Xiaomi considering the large influx of website clicks and lead acquisitions.
